Janae Wilson-Hayden created J.Jems as an outlet for self-expression.
She found that designing jewelry brought her tremendous pleasure
and inspired an inner peace. Janae gained a heightened awareness of
the power of gems and stones to reveal a woman's unique and artistic
voice. The voice may be bold, loud and spontaneous or it may be soft,
melodious and charming. Exposed to her mother and grandmother's affection for all types of jewelry, Janae developed a love for colorful and expressive jewelry at an early age. However, it wasn't until her grandmother Dolores taught her the skill of designing jewelry that Janae really discovered her drive to create pieces of jewelry that could also inspire others to love jewelry. J.Jem's has become a way for Janae to create one of a kind, artistically unique jewelry designs that speak to each woman's style, emotions and inner voice. Janae believes that each piece she creates represents the power that women have to communicate and inspire beauty through the stones and gems they choose to wear. |
